One of my most passionate senior capstone projects at Iowa State University was the brand identity for Folkwood, a guitar manufacturing company inspired by my deep love for acoustic guitars. To expand the concept, I designed a fictional music festival that Folkwood would theoretically host and fund, featuring artists from country, folk, and Americana genres in an immersive celebration of roots music. The overall aesthetic blends rustic, rural charm with psychedelic flair, much like a modern-day Woodstock festival. Warm woodgrain textures, earthy tones, swirling organic patterns, and handcrafted typography create a feeling of authentic heritage mixed with free-spirited energy, positioning Folkwood as both a maker of timeless instruments and a catalyst for musical community.
